The 2006 Ford Freestar is Ford’s front-wheel-drive minivan that came out as a 2004 model to replace the Ford Windstar. While the exterior styling of the Freestar is similar to the Windstar, the new minivan moves forward with advances in safety, interior design, fold-flat seating, and new engines.
The 2007 Ford Freestar receives a standard third-row Tailgate Bench Seat that can be placed in a rearward-facing position for picnics and tailgate activities. Models equipped with AdvanceTrac also have Panic Brake Assist, which can help reduce stopping distances in a panic stop. Six new exterior colors are added.
