Ford will be showing off their new 2008 Kuga Concept at the Frankfurt Auto Show. Although the Kuga was built as a cross over and has a design that is similar to the Ford Focus (European version) – engineers derived their inspiration for the vehicle from the Iosis X Concept.
We are expecting the Kuga to be available in all wheel and front wheel drive. Consumers will also have the option to opt for the gasoline or diesel engine. Ford promised us the all-wheel drive Kuga will have “impressive on-road dynamics coupled with substantial off-road ability.”
The Kuga will be the first crossover that will be designed and developed in-house by Ford of Europe. The Kuga will be released next year in Europe. Ford has not stated if we will see the Kuga in the U.S.
