2009 Ford FlexFord has finally released the pricing for the up and coming 2009 Flex crossover. The vehicle will be hitting dealerships this summer with a price tag starting at $28,995. This will include any shipping costs – but not any of the special features that can be added to one of the three trim levels.

These trim levels will all start off with a price tag higher than $30,000. Ford built the Flex as a six to seven seater CUV that will come in front wheel drive or all wheel drive configurations. The AWD Flex Limited is expected to be $37,255 before any of the special options have been added on to it.

2009 Ford Edge SportFord brought in the 2009 Edge to as a way for them to offer more of a variety and more choices for consumers to choose from in the crossover utility market. Ford has obviously given it a sporty look that appeals to the adventurous sides of consumers. Yet, at the same time it can also be used as family vehicle.

The 2009 Edge has been buffed up and equipped with newer features and models. The exterior of the vehicle has been given and added front air dam, side skirts, and a rear skirt. The wheels are the most drastic change. They are 20” Pirelli Scorpion Zero tires with polished aluminum. The taillights have an edgier look to them – which helps to enhance the sporty look of the vehicle.

2009 Ford EscapeFord will be revealing the new 2009 Escape 2009 Mercury Mariner at the Washington Auto Show this week. The event will start Wednesday and will last until Sunday. Ford will be competing with Toyota at the auto show when it comes to showing off new SUV’s.

Ford said overall fuel efficiency for the gasoline versions of the 2009 Escape and Mariner would increase by 1 mpg compared with the 2008 versions, which get between 18 mpg in the city and 26 mpg on the highway depending on the engine configuration.

2009 Ford FlexThe 2009 Ford Flex crossover is an SUV that seats up to seven people and was built to take the place of the minivan lineup that Ford is accustomed to making. Ford was planning on giving the Mercury a chance to get the same design as the Flex – but it seems that Lincoln is next in line.

Sources say the Flex will bow first, allowing it to have its moment in the sun before the Lincoln version is added to the lineup, perhaps a year later. It is in keeping with a strategic plan going forward to place more emphasis on the Lincoln premium brand than on Mercury. At the recent L.A. auto show, Mark Fields, Ford president of the Americas, said Lincoln will take over as the volume piece of the Lincoln Mercury franchise.

2009 Ford Glass Roof MustangNext summer the Mustang will be celebrating the 45 years its been riding on the road and the success it has had. Of course this means that they will be creating a special Mustang for the occasion except this time they have decided to change it up a bit and do things a bit differently by adding on a new option when buying a Mustang. They will be able to choose between a coupe, convertible, and glass roof.

The 2009 Ford Glass Roof Mustang will come with an available factory-installed glass roof and will be assembled at the Automotive Alliance International plant in Flat Rock with the glass to be installed at Ford’s adjacent vehicle personalization facility.
