Crashed TaurusFord has chosen to show off the Taurus at the up and coming New York Auto Show tomorrow. You will see the Taurus in all of its glory even if one of them looks like it just came from an accident. Ford is taking an unusual tactic and will be showing off just how safe their cars are by showing you what happens and what their car looks like after an accident.

That is why they have chosen to crash test one and then to display it and show off its five star frontal and side crash test ratings that it received from the National Highway Safety Administration.

They also know that when it comes to out children there is nothing more precious or more important for us to protect. That is why they are creating new and better ways to protect children during an accident.

Cash BurningFord has announced that its full year financial results for 2006, and the picture is not happy. From October through the end of the year alone, it consumed $5.8 billion. For the full year it expended $12.7 billion more than it took in.

Last year was one of the worst years in Ford’s history, with two major stabs at a restructuring plan, CEO Bill Ford stepping down, borrowing more than $25 billion to fund operations and announcements about closing 16 factories and eliminating more than 44,000 jobs.
