Responding to the concerns about the safety of these large vehicles, Ford is making its “AdvanceTrac with Roll Stability Control” standard on 12- and 15-passenger E-350 Super Duty extended-length wagons for 2006.
The stability system senses roll rate and automatically applies selective braking to reduce the risk of rollover. The only other change for 2006 is making a redesigned engine cover console standard on all models and adding a transmission-oil cooler to the Trailer Tow package.
